An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for Liverpool Council. This is a temporary Social Worker role within the Safeguarding Team. In this role you will benefit from a competitive hourly rate whilst having the opportunity to work in a professional and vibrant environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
- Developing and implementing child protection plans in partnership with families and other stakeholders.
- Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and follow-ups.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Attending court hearings and providing expert testimony when required.
For this position you will need hold a recognised social work qualification and be Social Care England registered. Furthermore, you will have at least two years post qualifying experience in statutory child care setting, to support your ability for this role.
