Your New RoleA leading consultancy company within the public sector space is seeking a passionate and driven Social Value Product Manager to oversee the development and evolution of their Social Value Management function. This key role will help ensure their platform continues to meet the evolving demands of public sector procurement while enabling clients to effectively evidence and maximise their social value impact.The ideal candidate will have experience in Bid Management, Social Value Delivery, or Public Sector Frameworks and will play a pivotal role in shaping product development. They will collaborate closely with end users to ensure the tools reflect the latest policy requirements, metrics, and reporting standards.Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic development of the Social Value Management module within the company's platform.
- Engage with contractors, public sector clients, and social value leads to gather feedback and insights.
- Conduct workshops, round-tables, and focus groups to validate product direction and guide future enhancements.
- Collaborate with development and design teams to translate sector-specific requirements into high-impact digital tools.
- Stay updated with policy changes, frameworks (e.g., TOMs, National Social Value Measurement), and emerging best practices in social value management.
- Support the commercial team by providing product insights and assisting with client engagement during onboarding, demos, and bid processes.
- Identify opportunities to expand impact through innovation and integration in the social value sector.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Experience in Social Value Management, Bid Writing, Framework Bids, or Public Sector Procurement.
- Strong understanding of social value measurement methodologies and their practical application in real-world projects.
- Proven ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and translate complex policy requirements into software solutions.
- Experience in SaaS product development or digital platform transformation (preferred but not essential).
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with leading social value metrics frameworks (e.g., National TOMs, SEQM, bespoke client measures).
