We are urgently looking for people with behaviour management backgrounds to support young people across Sefton and Liverpool. Particularly in the Bootle, Southport, Liverpool and Netherton areas.

Your role will be working in a classroom setting often on a one-to-one basis with a young person under the guidance of a teacher.

We are looking for people who have experience working with young people in any setting particularly those with experience of challenging behaviour and young person's mental health.

Classroom training will be provided.

This is a real opportunity to work with and shape the futures pf young people across the Sefton and Liverpool areas.

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to:

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils across KS3 and KS4.
  • Help deliver personalised learning and behaviour strategies.
  • Support pupils' social and emotional development.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils who may have experienced trauma or disruption in their education.
  • Contribute to a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment.

We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEMH or additional needs.
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
  • Strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills.
  • A team player who is also confident working independently.
  • A willingness to learn and undertake relevant CPD.
