Position: SEN Primary Teacher
Location: Liverpool
Salary: 160 - 220 per day

Are you a passionate and caring teacher with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs? Our welcoming primary school in Liverpool is looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a committed and inclusive team.

About the Role:

You will work with pupils across EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2 with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language challenges, and learning difficulties. Whether working 1:1, in small groups, or leading a specialist provision, you'll be central to helping our pupils thrive both academically and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCP targets
  • Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels safe and valued
  • Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, and outside agencies
  • Build positive relationships with families to support children's learning and development
  • Monitor progress, assess learning needs, and maintain detailed records

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
  • Experience teaching children with SEN in a primary setting
  • Knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective SEND teaching strategies
  • A nurturing, patient, and creative approach to teaching
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
