We are currently recruiting on behalf of a popular world buffet restaurant located in Livingston, West Lothian. This lively and spacious venue offers a wide variety of global cuisines, including Asian, European, and Middle Eastern dishes, served across multiple live cooking stations. The restaurant is especially known for its vibrant dessert counter, featuring freshly made pastries, cakes, ice creams, and sweet treats that delight guests of all ages.

- Position :Specialist Pastry/Dessert Chef De Partie
- Employer :Premium Dining Restaurant
- Location: Livingston, Scotland
- Gross OTE salary package : circa£35,000 +(incl.share of serv. chge + targeted bonus)
- Weekly working hours / days48 hours and5/6 days

You will be responsible for the skilful preparation and artistic presentation of a wide range of desserts and pastries, including cakes, mousses, puddings, sweetmeats, and ice creams. Youll work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment, contributing to the dessert sections creativity and consistency. Youll also supervise junior staff and ensure high standards of hygiene and food safety.
To qualify for selection you must have the following minimum requirements: -
- Eligibility to live and work in UK
- Experience in the preparation of authentic high quality pastry & dessert
- Technical knowledge of ingredient quality, sourcing, measuring & formulation
- Industrial training in a world renowned culinary/hospitality institute
- Previous experience of at least 3 years in this role + min 3 years of prior experience in escalating job roles
- Relevant Health & Safety credentials and knowledge of HACCP protocols
- Resident within commutable distance of up to one hour
