Connect Appointments are seeking a number of individuals to become an Order Picker with our Bathgate-based logistics client.
What's on offer? Full-time or part-time ongoing temporary opportunity, leading to permanent employment for the right candidates.
- Shift One: Wednesday to Sunday, from 5:30pm to job in finish
- Shift Two: Thursday to Sunday, from 5:30pm to job in finish
- Shift Three: Friday to Sunday, from 5:30pm to job in finish
- Paid weekly at 14.68 to 18.35 per hour
- 14.68 between the hours of 4am and 10pm
- 18.35 between the hours of 10pm and 4am
As an Order Picker, your duties will include: Using headsets, barcodes and serial numbers to locate the correct items for shipment, ensuring inventory is managed accurately. Combined with:
- Safely picking items from shelves
- Packaging completed orders
- Completing necessary invoicing or paperwork
- Unloading deliveries from delivery lorries
- Assisting with the distribution of goods throughout the warehouse
- Performing warehouse cleaning duties if necessary
To be successful in this order picker position, you will ideally have: Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment; The ability to follow both written and verbal instructions; The ability to using picking machines in warehouses and manually pick items; The ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
