About the role:
The Property Management Department is continuously growing and currently manages a portfolio of over 1,000 properties. Due to this growth, they are now looking for an experienced Client Accountant to join the team of 8 Property Managers, 2 Accountants and an administrator to help them deliver outstanding customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Client Accountant to further their career.
Responsibilities:
- Management over the entire rent charges: receiving rent and paying landlords
- Preparing and reporting on year end accounts and audits
- Dealing with landlords, tenant and supplier queries
- Supplier ledger reconciliation
- Bank reconciliation
- Activating new tenancies and processing renewals
- Credit control: landlord fees and tenants arrears
- Processing deposit returns
- Posting suppliers invoices
Requirements:
- 3 years of client accounts experience in a property management department
- Experience with a client accounting software, preferably Reapit
- Ability to work fast and accurately to clear deadlines
- Desire to take ownership over their tasks
- Good written communication skills
- Good computer skills
