This is a great opportunity for a Russian speaking accountant with 2 plus years of accounting experience and the right to work in the UK to join a close-knit team of professionals within a private investment family office based in the heart of London and international entities across Europe. This is an office-based job with the potential to work 1-2 days per week from home.

Responsibilities

  • Looking after the day-to-day financial accounting across the various businesses
  • Preparation of budgets with monitoring and analysis of actual performance against the target
  • Collecting files with reports on actual results for a particular month for each Department of the group, comparing results with data in budgets on a monthly basis
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and key management information
  • Production of cash flow forecasts
  • Ensuring payments to suppliers are made in a timely manner, according to budgets
  • Liaising with all key stakeholders to ensure relevant information is distributed on time and is accurate
  • Collecting and archiving of management reports

Key Skills

  • Be fluent in English and Russian with excellent communication skills
  • Be eligible to work in the UK
  • Qualified or Part-qualified Accountant, progressing towards ACCA or CIMA qualification
  • Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical capabilities coupled with successful business partnering
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good analytical skills (identifying issues, understanding complex problems, drawing sound conclusions)
  • Enthusiastic, diligent and energetic with a flexible approach in a rapidly changing environment
  • Good IT skills with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, skills in Sage and/or 1C are an advantage
