Robert Half are exclusively partnering with a Financial Services firm to recruit a Financial Controller.
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead and build their finance function. This role combines hands-on accounting responsibilities with strategic oversight and plays a critical role in supporting their continued growth.
Profile:
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in U.S GAAP, a track record of managing complex financial operations, and a proactive mindset. Responsibilities include full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, cash flow management, compliance, and executive support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage core accounting operations, including bookkeeping, invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll
- Generate accurate and timely financial reports in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Conduct analysis of financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Track cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Maintain robust internal controls and ensure adherence to regulatory standards
- Deliver financial insights and reports to support executive decision-making
What we need:
- Degree educated in Accounting/ Finance or equivalent
- Qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent)
- Min 5 years' post qualification experience
- Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP/ accounting
