Fund Operations Senior Associate . OUR CLIENT are a successful, international real estate investment company who have been investing in a wide range of assets for over 40 years. They are looking for a Fund Operations Senior Associate to join their real estate Fund Accounting Team in the UK.

THE ROLE responsibilities of the Fund Operations Senior Associate include:

  • Reviewing management accounts prepared by third party administrators for a UK and European portfolio.
  • Preparing fund consolidation with UK GAAP adjustments.
  • Quarterly preparing NAV and financial summaries.
  • Preparing financial accounts for the year with IFRS adjustments
  • Preparing quarterly cash flows for the fund management team.
  • Working with tax advisors and reviewing tax computations (UK VAT return and CIS returns).
  • Preparing, managing and monitoring budgets.
  • Completing quarterly investor reports with performance metrics and detailed analysis of recent performance.
  • Organising payments runs with external service providers.

THE PERSON skills and requirements for the Fund Operations Senior Associate are:

  • Must be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with at least 3 years of Real Estate fund accounting / property investment accounting and fund consolidations experience.
  • Proven experience and knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • Experience of working on both UK and pan-European funds.
  • Good team player and communicator with strong analytical skills.
