An established and growing organisation in the environmental services and consultancy sector is seeking a skilled Group Management Accountant on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on finance professional to join a purpose-driven team and take ownership of financial reporting, group consolidation, and strategic planning.
The opportunity:This role is ideal for a qualified accountant with experience in utilities, water, environmental services, or consultancy, who's looking to make an immediate impact with long-term potential.
Key responsibilities:

Lead monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations

Manage the month-end and year-end close
-
Conduct variance and cost analysis

Maintain cash flow forecasting and oversee working capital

Handle group consolidations across multiple global entities

Mentor finance staff

Implement systems and process improvements

Support long-term financial planning and modelling
What we're looking for:

ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent)

Strong background in management accounts and group reporting

Industry experience in utilities, water, environmental services, or consultancy

Comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving environment

Proactive and hands-on approach
