Financial Accountant - Japanese speaker

Big 4 on behalf of one of their clients - consultancy basis

Location Central London - Hybrid 2/3 days in the London office

Responsibilities include:

Preparing financial statements that reflect a company's financial position, including the balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement
Keeping track of a company's financial transactions, including sales and expenses, to ensure they're accurate
Developing and managing budgets for companies
Performing audits to ensure that a company's financial records are accurate and comply with applicable regulations
Analysing financial data using financial ratios, trend analysis and other techniques to identify areas for improvement
Preparing and filing tax returns for a company
Prepare and present statements, such as balance sheets, income and cash flow.
Perform monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing activities.
Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and studying account information.
Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement and provide insights to management for decision-making.
Manage treasury payment issues where applicable, including domestic and foreign payments.
Ensure that the organisation complies with all financial regulations, including tax laws, accounting standards and reporting requirements in India.
