Management Accountant | Rapid Growth Music Business | London

Harmonic are delighted to be working on an exclusive basis with one of the Music industry's biggest success stories, in the search for a Management Accountant to join their growing team.

The Business:

The business is a global phenomenon, associated with some of the world's biggest superstars and ground breaking technological developments. Responsible for the management of some of the most successful song catalogues of all time, our client has gone from strength to strength since inception over the last 5 years with a strong reputation and presence internationally.

Backed and led by some of the music industries leading characters, there is a strong culture attached to the business with a shared love of the industry throughout. The business is extremely well-funded and is currently on a growth trajectory whereby they will continue to expand, thus opening several opportunities for future progression and development.

The Role:

Reporting into a very talented Finance Director with a successful track record of mentoring junior colleagues, this newly created role will also offer a fantastic amount of autonomy to the core duties. Due to the nature of the role, it will require an outward facing character, that is dynamic, a self starter and keen to learn and grow. Based in an awesome, modern and collaborative office space in central London, this role will operate on a hybrid basis.

Main duties:

  • Business partnering with various department heads
  • Prepare and support on delivery of month end and the monthly management accounts working within specific timeframes
  • Deliver monthly forecasting and budgeting processes
  • Provide insightful variance analysis
  • Lead on system improvement processes
  • Attend regular meetings with key budget holders

What we need to see (essential):

  • ACCA / ACA / CIMA Studier
  • Strong Excel skills

What we need to see (bonus):

  • Creative industries experience (Music / TV & Film / Publishing etc)

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 + study support + great benefits package
