Your new companyYou will be joining a specialist and well-established insurance organisation that operates within the Lloyd's of London and international markets, specialising in Marine and Aviation. As part of a close-knit finance team of 10, you will report directly to the Financial Controller. Based in their modern City of London office, which features a luxury gym and an in-house barista, you will enjoy a hybrid working arrangement. This role has arisen due to an internal promotion, highlighting the team's growth and development.
Your new role
- Preparing month-end closing.
- Preparing monthly management accounts and other financial reports such as budgets.
- Monitoring cash flow and store reconciliation.
- Preparation of monthly sales reports complete with P&L's, variance analysis, and commentaries.
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Booking relevant month-end journals - accruals, prepayments, stock, depreciation, deferred revenue.
- Assisting with yearly budgeting and monthly forecasting.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working in an insurance firm is advantageous.
- Experience with month-end and full management packs is required.
- Actively studying.
