Supporting a leading construction company renowned for its high-quality project delivery and client-centric values, in their search for a Management Accountant

  • Hybrid: 4 days in 1 from home
  • Location: London
  • Salary: £40,000 to £47,000

What to expect:

  • Support in managing and developing monthly overhead reporting and budgets.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Director to improve short- and long-term cash and balance sheet forecasting accuracy.
  • Ensure timely and accurate booking of monthly contract journals.
  • Assist in preparing monthly trial balances, reports, and analysis.
  • Report on group debtor and cash positions.
  • Contribute to month-end tasks, including accruals, prepayments, and maintaining the Fixed Asset Register.
  • Analyse daily bank transactions to track historical cash flow.
  • Help implement and maintain finance processes, controls, and team development with the Financial Controller and Finance Director.

What skills/attributes

  • ACCA/CIMA Part-qualified/Finalist.
  • Confident handling and analysing data.
  • A can-do attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong excel skills.
