The company:Our client, a multinational shipping group headquartered in London, is seeking a technically adept, Senior Financial Accountant to join their growing finance team in London.

Responsibilities:

Involvement in group consolidation process and the production of quarterly and annual statutory accounts under IFRS
Preparation of parts of the quarterly management report and providing commentaries to management.
Assisting with group budgeting and forecasting
Preparation of additional supporting schedules for reviews and providing explanations and analysis as required to support key stakeholders.
Maintenance and quarterly uploading of the Company’s lease, depreciation, deferred charges, interest accruals and other accounting schedules as required.
Supporting VAT return preparation and submission across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations
Assisting with corporate tax computations and working with external advisors during tax filings and audits
Monitoring and managing group cash flow, intercompany funding, and banking relationships
Supporting treasury operations including FX exposure management, liquidity forecasting, and covenant compliance

Role Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a qualified ACA/ACCA/CPA (or equivalent)
Top 10/20 audit experience is desirable but not essential
Ability to work on own initiative or as a part of a team
Ability to meet deadlines
