Robert Half are exclusively partnering with a well established global engineering firm to hire a junior accounts assistant into a growing finance team.
Role:
Our client is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant, with a maximum notice period of 1 month, on a permanent basis . In this role you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Managing invoicing including creating and sending invoices; raising credit notes if
- required
- Generally allocating invoices, credit notes, supplier bills etc to the right accounts in XERO
- Maintaining an invoicing forecast with input from team leaders
- Maintain purchase ledger
- Assist with managing debt ledger, including contacting clients to agree payment
- dates etc
- Setting up new clients and suppliers on internal systems
- Setting up outside consultants on internal systems
- Chasing of timesheets
- Assisting with data analysis
- General administrative support - including occasional reception cover
Profile:
The ideal candidate is a school leaver or graduate with 6-12 months experience as an accounts assistant covering both purchase ledger and sales ledger. If a school leaver, ideally would have started their AAT qualification. Graduates with a placement year will also be considered.
Candidates must be happy to be in the office 5 days a week in Holborn.

Salary & Benefits:
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000
Holiday: 20 days + bank holidays + Christmas closure (not taken from holiday) + company away days
Study support: AAT, ACCA, CIMA
Pension - Minimum 4% matched - upwards to 8%
