An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant focused on accounts receivable to join a growing clothing retailer in London.
The role offers a salary between £17.45 and £19.20 per hour via umbrella for a duration of 1-2 months, with the potential for a permanent position.
The successful candidate will work in a hybrid environment, spending three days a week in the riverside office, and will report to the Financial Controller.
Candidates should have a working knowledge of the accounts receivable process and prior experience meeting month-end deadlines, with 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
Experience with Dynamics or Great Plains is advantageous, and candidates should possess proactive soft skills for effective teamwork.

An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant (accounts receivable focused) to join a growing clothing retailer on a temporary basis. This role working for a household name with a strong finance team with expectations of 3 days in their riverside office.

Details of the role:

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be an integral member in the Finance team of 10 in a highly progressive environment. There is a chance that this role will go permanent but isn’t guaranteed.

Responsibilities include:

Posting sales ledger invoices
Carrying out bank reconciliations
Chasing debts
Produce adhoc finance reports as required
Support in analysis on Management Accounts and monthly reporting pack

The successful candidate will have working knowledge of the AR process and has prior experience in month end deadlines. Experience with Dynamics or Great Plains would advantageous. Softer skills required would include being proactive in nature with a pragmatic approach and the ability to build relationships within the team.
