Are you ready to make an impact in education finance? Join this dedicated Finance Team supporting two schools in North London.

As Assistant Accountant, you will play a key role in managing the Trust's finances alongside the Accountant and Assistant Principal, Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage bank reconciliations
  • Raise sales invoices and assist with purchase invoices
  • Process weekly BACS runs and credit card payments
  • Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and calculate depreciation
  • Reconcile the bursary fund and charity fundraising accounts
  • Produce monthly accounts for college lettings
  • Support year-end audits, annual budgets, and ESFA returns

You will be part-qualified or qualified by experience with a minimum two years’ experience in accountancy. You will possess strong IT skills (Excel, Outlook, Word) coupled with meticulous attention to detail and organisational skills. Experience in the education or voluntary sector is highly desirable.
