Are you an experienced Financial Administrator looking for an immediate start in a supportive and collaborative school environment? A prestigious independent international school in Richmond is seeking a dedicated Financial Administrator to join their administration team of 20 staff on a fixed-term basis.
This role supports the Financial Controller and offers a varied workload including VAT returns, ledger control, reconciliations, and assistance with year-end audits.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with VAT returns and ensure tax compliance
Manage supplier and customer ledgers using Sage Line 50
Liaise with staff on school trips and activities to raise and reconcile invoices
Reconcile accounts including suppliers, customers, and bank
Oversee staff expenses and credit card statement reconciliations
Maintain the security deposit portfolio
Support the year-end audit process and journal postings
Contribute to continuous improvements in finance systems and reporting
About You:
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role with strong debit/credit knowledge
Part-qualified or QBE
Proficient in Sage Line 50 and Excel
Excellent communicator with the ability to hit the ground running
Previous fixed-term contract experience desirable
Available to start immediately
