RT Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a reputable and growing accountancy firm in Central London, currently looking to bring a motivated and ambitious Trainee Accountant into their dynamic team.
About the Role:As a Trainee Accountant, you’ll work closely with senior accountants and gain hands-on experience across all areas of finance. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the beginning of their finance career who is looking to grow within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.
Key Responsibilities:-
Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports

Supporting with bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and ledger work

Preparing VAT returns and helping with tax submissions

Liaising with clients and HMRC

Learning and developing skills across multiple finance areas

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or strong academic background with a passion for numbers)

Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Previous experience (internships or part-time roles) is a bonus, but not essential

Full study support package (AAT/ACCA/CIMA)
