Administrative Assistant, Private Wealth Investment Company, London, Permanent, £22,000-£24,000

Our client is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their Finance and Administration team. If you have spoken and written Italian that would be an advantage but it is not essential. This is a great opportunity if you are looking for an office based career step in London and would like to work for a friendly company which likes to encourage its staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to the Office Manager/Financial Controller
  • Send outgoing post and couriers
  • Order all office supplies & stationery, put it away and ensure areas are tidy and replenished
  • Ensure the kitchen supplies (e.g. milk, sugar, water, tea, coffee) are replenished and purchase more as necessary
  • Archive and take/retrieve files and storage boxes from the filing storage areas
  • Run errands
  • Reply to telephone/email requests as appropriate
  • Cover other administration roles as required
  • Check supplier invoices received, obtain approval and input onto the system
  • Ensure that all reconciliations, updates and postings are accurately reported, ensuring accounts can be completed
  • Draft and issue invoices and credit notes efficiently and within required deadline
  • Reply to telephone/email requests as appropriate
  • Attend internal, external training sessions and meetings as set by the company
  • Any other ad hoc duties as they arise.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft programmes - Word, excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A logical and analytical approach to problems and situations
  • Good level of education
