Job Title: Deputy SENCO

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent or Long-term
Salary: 35,000 - 45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm

About the role: Assist the SENCO in managing the SEND department, coordinating support plans, overseeing interventions, and working with staff, parents and external agencies to drive positive outcomes.
We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:
Support the strategic development of SEND provision across the school
Oversee EHCP processes, interventions and progress tracking
Provide guidance and training to teachers and support staff
Build strong relationships with families and external professionals
Requirements - The ideal candidate would have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or extensive experience as a Deputy SENCO
Strong knowledge of SEND practices and the SEND Code of Practice
Excellent organisational and leadership skills
Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
