Charity Recruitment is delighted to be working with a Grant-Making Charity based in Putney, currently seeking a dedicated and organised Administration Assistant to join their small, friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a part-time role with flexibility, while contributing to a meaningful cause.
Role Overview:
As the Administration Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the charity’s day-to-day operations. You will be the first point of contact for both internal and external enquiries, providing a warm and professional welcome to all callers and visitors. The role is varied and hands-on, requiring someone with excellent organisational skills and a can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities:

Frontline Support: Manage incoming phone calls and emails, providing initial responses or directing queries to the appropriate team members.

Database Management: Maintain and update the charity’s internal records and databases, ensuring information is accurate and up-to-date.

Document Preparation: Draft, edit, and format Word documents, including internal reports and correspondence.

Office Coordination: Monitor and maintain office supplies, placing orders when needed, and ensuring the office environment remains well-organised.

Administrative Support: Assist with general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, photocopying, and supporting the wider team as needed.
About You:

You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and friendly approach.

You're confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.

You have excellent organisational skills and can manage your workload independently.

You’re detail-oriented, proactive, and happy to take initiative where needed.

Previous administrative experience within a charity or office environment is desirable.
Working Pattern:

2 days per week, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Wednesday and Thursday)
