Programmes and Student Services Administrator

Start Date: May

Contract: 3-Month Interim

Rate: £19 - £26 per hour

Location: London-based University

Hours per Week: 35 hours (full-time)

Working Arrangement: Hybrid

In this role, you will be responsible for managing programme processes, providing exceptional student services, and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for internal staff and students.

Duties:

  • Evaluate PhD programmes administration
  • Provide data analysis and develop data driven problem identification solutions
  • Enhance the programmes from enrolment through to graduation
  • Act as the first point of contact for enquiries, liaising with internal staff on changes to student records and modes of attendance
  • Monitor student attendance
  • Monitor Tier 4/student visa students' vacation periods and working arrangements
  • Collate and update PhD student profiles on the website
  • Organise the PhD workshops
  • Undertake research administration tasks

Specifications:

  • Programme or admissions administrative experience in higher education
  • Experience using large student databases such as SITS
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
