A Good graded Secondary School in Southwark is on the hunt for a Lead Practitioner of Geography for September 2025 start. This is a full-time, and permanent position, primarily based at one school but supporting with Geography across the other schools within the small, local trust.
What will the role of Lead Practitioner of Geography entail?
- Raising attainment, and quality of learning across KS3-KS4 - KS5 Is an additional option
- Working alongside a very STRONG Head of Department
- Leading from the front, oozing passion & enthusiasm towards Geography!
The Head Teacher is keen to find a strong,experienced Geography Teacher who can take the Schools Geography curriculum & department to the next level. You'll be given full support from SLT while the freedom to make changes where needed.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Must have high standards for yourself & colleagues
- Proven record of outstanding teaching
- Real passion towards Geography
- Willingness to lead from the front
- Must have UK QTS
- Graded "Outstanding" or "Good" in recent lesson observations
