We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Clinical Lead (RGN/RSCN) to join a leading provider of complex care services in the community. Based in Wimbledon, this leadership role is ideal for a clinician ready to step into a broader operational position, combining team management with expert clinical oversight.
Role Overview
In this strategic role, you will primarily be responsible for managing and supporting a team of Clinical Leads, ensuring they deliver safe, high-quality care across a range of complex care packages. While you will also oversee a reduced personal caseload, your focus will be on mentoring, clinical governance, and operational excellence rather than hands-on care delivery.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled RGN or RSCN looking to grow their leadership footprint in a respected, expanding organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Clinical Leads, providing clinical supervision, guidance, and support in the delivery of community-based complex care.
- Ensure high standards of care planning, clinical documentation, and risk assessment across all care packages.
- Maintain oversight of a small caseload of complex care clients, ensuring personalised, safe, and responsive care.
- Conduct service reviews and audits, contributing to continuous improvement and clinical governance processes.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners including CHC teams, commissioners, and community health services.
- Oversee and support staff training, clinical competencies, and professional development.
Essential Criteria
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Sick Children's Nurse (RSCN) with an active NMC PIN.
- At least 12 months experience in complex community care, including tracheostomy and ventilator management.
- Prior experience in managing or mentoring clinical teams; Band 6 experience or equivalent preferred.
- Confident leadership style with the ability to inspire, support, and develop others.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.

- Monday to Friday hours no weekends or nights
- 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)
- Private pension scheme
- £0.45 per mile travel reimbursement
