Key Account Manager – Food Manufacturing

We’re pleased to be hiring on behalf of one of our highly respected London-based food manufacturing clients to appoint a passionate and commercially astute Key Account Manager. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team where quality, service, and strong partnerships with the hospitality sector are at the heart of everything they do.

As Key Account Manager, you will be the face of the business for a portfolio of key clients, primarily within the contract catering space, nurturing relationships, resolving issues, and driving organic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with existing customers, particularly within the contract catering channel
  • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Support menu planning, product launches, and service improvements with chefs and foodservice teams
  • Monitor account performance, identify opportunities for upselling or service enhancement
  • Collaborate with internal teams across customer service, production, and logistics to deliver a seamless client experience
  • Resolve service issues promptly and professionally, maintaining a solution-focused approach
  • Represent the business at client meetings and industry events, promoting brand values and service quality

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in B2B account management, ideally in FMCG
  • A background in managing key accounts within the contract catering sector is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
