Customer Account Manager Salary: £34,000 - £36,000

A Global Technology company based in West London is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Customer Account Manager. Looking for B2B customer service background and experience within a distribution environment. The Customer Account Manager is responsible for both revenue and customer service and is directly responsible for generating revenue for assigned accounts and territories. Key tasks include direct customer communication, by a variety of channels, order management, fulfilment chain and information and exception management.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for both revenue and customer service and is directly responsible for generating revenue for assigned accounts and territories
  • Owns revenue opportunities from start to finish and is responsible for building and growing business relationships within their assigned accounts, channels and/or geographies
  • Providing transparency to customers on their orders and requests and provides pre-emptive solutions on significant matters impacting the customer experience
  • Project order management, processes all order types with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy
  • Required to think independently, meeting specific customer support level agreements (SLA), and making decisions
  • Take control of the customer experience, driving first contact resolution in an autonomous environment
  • Demonstrates strong product competencies, handles most customer requests for ad-hoc product support

Skills and Experience required:

  • Good experience within Account Management / Customer Support role in a B2B environment
  • Must have worked in a distribution environment
  • Sales/Order processing experience
  • English speaking a must, another European language desirable but not essential
  • Experience of following up warm leads, booking meetings for sales team
  • Experience in using SAP & Oracle - preferred
  • Proficient in managing small to medium business projects
  • Confident communication skills
