Clinical Research Phlebotomist, West London

Part time, 9 hours a week, Weds, Thurs, Fri

Duration: 6 months, £17ph

Leading Education and Research facility requires a motivated and efficient Phlebotomist to support the team on a research project.

  • You will be responsible for taking blood, urine, saliva samples from participants
  • Verify participant identification
  • Follow standard procedures for sample labelling and storage
  • Track collected specimens
  • Take height, weight and blood pressure measurements of participants

The ideal candidate must have

  • Proven UK paid experience at a Phlebotomist in the UK
  • Able to escalate concerns to clinicians
  • An understanding of ethical practice and study participant confidentiality
  • Experience of working with older adults in a Phlebotomy capacity
  • Experience with sample processing
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work within a supportive team environment
