A leading Japanese Investment Bank is currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their London-based office within the Systems Development team. The client is currently delivering a range of regulatory and strategic initiatives and requires support with the delivery and oversight of payments-related projects.
Job Details:
Start date - ASAP
Duration - 6 months initial
Rate - 600-700pd Inside via Umbrella
Location - London
Hybrid - 2-3 days a week in the office

Key requirements:

Strong understanding of the software development process and project lifecycle.
Proven ability to gather and specify business requirements for new and existing applications.
Excellent business acumen and client-facing skills.
Experience with payment system integration and knowledge of banking systems.
Familiarity with domestic and international payment schemes (e.g. BACS, CHAPS, SEPA, SWIFT, CBPR+).
Understanding of payment messaging formats including SWIFT FIN MT, XML ISO20022 (pain, pacs, camt), and BACS Std. 18.
Knowledge of SQL, XML, XSD, MQ, API, Postman, and ETL is desirable.
Experience with OPF systems, Loans, Money Market, Trade Finance, Derivatives, and FX Products is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, and Confluence is desirable.
