About the RoleA fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Analyst to join a dynamic and expanding insurance group at the heart of the London Market. This Group-level role supports a close-knit Product team and plays a critical part in integrating newly acquired businesses, improving business processes, and driving operational efficiencies across the organisation.

This is an exciting time to join a company undergoing rapid growth through strategic acquisitions. You'll work with senior stakeholders across the business, leading analysis initiatives that underpin large-scale transformation and technology-driven projects.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead business analysis for post-acquisition integrations, from process mapping to gap analysis.
  • Collaborate with leadership to translate strategic goals into actionable business and technical requirements.
  • Conduct data-driven analysis to uncover insights and inform decision-making.
  • Produce and maintain documentation including business cases, functional specs, process flows, and user guides.
  • Support change initiatives, ensuring successful adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Act as a bridge between business units, IT, and external vendors.
  • Monitor KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Deliver work packages aligned with the Group Project Framework.

About YouYou are a skilled communicator and problem solver with a passion for turning business needs into workable solutions. You are equally comfortable challenging the status quo as you are supporting stakeholders through change.

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in a Business Analyst role within insurance or financial services.
  • Solid understanding of the London Market and core insurance operations (claims, underwriting, etc.).
  • Proven experience with systems integration, data migration, and transformation.
  • Proficient in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, Power BI, and Excel.
  • Expertise in process mapping (e.g., BPMN/UML) and business process optimisation.
  • Able to work independently, estimate and plan work, and liaise confidently across technical and business teams.

Desirable Certifications (not essential):

  • BCS Diploma in Business Analysis or CBAP
  • AgileBA certification
  • CII Insurance qualifications (Certificate, Diploma, or ACII)
