We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst - Insurance Transformation Consultant to join G Mass Consulting and lead transformative initiatives with a leading insurance provider. Based in our client's London office, this pivotal role will sit within the Operations Transformation and Change team, working alongside four colleagues to shape and deliver operational excellence. Reporting to the Transformation Lead, this is an initial 6-month contract with a hybrid working model (3 days in the office).
As a Senior Business Analyst - Insurance Transformation Consultant, you will drive the identification, design, and implementation of operational transformation opportunities. You will act as a trusted advisor, leveraging advanced automation tools like Power Platform and Power BI, and applying operational excellence methodologies to deliver measurable value and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior stakeholders to diagnose complex processes, uncover inefficiencies, and prioritise high-impact improvement opportunities.
- Lead the evaluation and design of process and technology-enabled solutions, drawing on deep knowledge of automation and data tools such as Power Platform and Power BI.
- Work closely with internal developers and subject matter experts to assess feasibility and drive solution implementation.
- Define and track the value of transformation initiatives, including efficiency, effectiveness, and customer impact metrics.
- Champion change management by facilitating workshops, aligning diverse teams, and embedding new ways of working.
- Apply advanced operational excellence techniques (e.g., Lean, value stream mapping) to deliver structured, sustainable improvements.
- Act as a bridge between operational and technical teams, ensuring business needs are clearly translated and prioritised.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in operational excellence, business improvement, or transformation consulting, ideally within insurance or reinsurance.
- Advanced knowledge of automation and data tools (e.g., Power Platform, Power BI) and their strategic business applications.
- Extensive experience applying process improvement methodologies, such as Lean or value stream mapping, to deliver measurable outcomes.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with a track record of building trusted relationships at all levels.
- Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to translate complex processes into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Comfortable leading autonomously, managing competing priorities, and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in facilitating collaborative sessions, designing workshops, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Paying between £70,000 to £90,000 per annum (pro-rata)
