This is an exciting opportunity to join a London Markets Insurer on a permanent basis. The business is on an exciting growth journey and are seeking a Senior Project Manager to support the business through a major transformation. Ideally you will have extensive Project Management, London Markets and Strategic Transformation experience.
As the Project Leader, you are expected to set a high standard of excellence for all team members. Your responsibilities include leading discussions with stakeholders to gain insights that will help define the project's scope, timeline, and resource requirements for all cross-functional projects. Your primary focus will be on all stages of project management, ensuring that every aspect is well-documented, risks and dependencies are identified, and effective management strategies are introduced.
Role requirements;
* Lead the adoption, implementation, and ongoing use of standardized project management tools, techniques, and best practices* Ensure both individual and team compliance with all project management-related policies and procedures* Define project scope, establish timelines, and assess resource requirements to ensure a clear, accurate understanding of each project-communicating this effectively in project plans and stakeholder meetings* Proactively oversee project requirements and guide the team through effective planning, task allocation, and progress reporting to ensure timely and successful project delivery* Identify, manage, and mitigate risks and interdependencies to enhance overall project performance
