Sonic Summary

info
  • This role is for a fluent French, German, or Dutch speaker with event sales experience, focusing on relationship-driven business development rather than aggressive sales tactics.
  • The position involves engaging with organizations like Chambers of Commerce and foreign embassies to foster partnerships that will generate inquiries for the consultancy's services.
  • Candidates should be comfortable working autonomously and will have the opportunity to attend and speak at various events, with some international travel required.
  • The salary for this position is £50,000, with an additional 10% bonus, bringing the total compensation to £55,000.
  • A minimum of previous business development experience is preferred for applicants.

This role is a wonderful opportunity for a fluent FRENCH or GERMAN or DUTCH speaker with event sales experience to " promote" or sell the services on offer by this consultancy, but is a 100% relationship -driven role and NOT a hard-core sales position at all and would not suit someone looking for an aggressive sales environment . You will tasked with establishing conversations with new -and also with lapsed - contacts across business organizations such as Chambers of Commerce, trade organizations and foreign embassies in order to suggest partnering arrangements with them to help drive the flow of enquiries to you, and to encourage businesses to open in the UK . There will be a great deal of personal contact (via event attendance and organisation) with potential partners . You will also have the opportunity to be the guest speaker at embassy (and other) events This role is very autonomous indeed, so you need to be happy to work " under your own steam". There are no targets to meet, but success will be assessed through the increasing number of enquiries that are generated, events attended and new enquiries that come in. There will be some international travel involved.
