Facilities Assistant

Cobalt is working with a forward-thinking property and facilities management business to recruit a Facilities Assistant for a key site in central London.

The Role

As Facilities Assistant, you will take full ownership of day-to-day facilities operations at a landmark building near Chancery Lane. The role offers variety, autonomy, and a clear path for progression, with professional training funded and a supportive leadership team in place.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage on-site facilities operations, including contractor oversight and supplier relationships.
  • Oversee front-of-house reception services, ensuring consistent service quality.
  • Act as the main point of contact for tenants and clients, delivering proactive problem-solving and excellent customer service.
  • Liaise directly with the building management team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Monitor service delivery standards and implement improvements where necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, with IOSH and NEBOSH training provided.
Essential Requirements
  • Background in facilities management or building operations, ideally in a customer-facing setting.
  • Exposure to contractor management and supplier coordination.
  • Understanding of PPM schedules, compliance standards, and basic property management principles.
