We are seeking a dedicated Careers & Employability Advisor to join our clients team. This role is crucial for providing expert guidance and support to post-16 students, helping them navigate their career paths effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the further education landscape and experience with the UCAS cycle.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Provide comprehensive careers advice and guidance to post-16 students across both campuses.
  • Assist students with their UCAS applications and provide support through the enrolment process.
  • Organise and participate in various academic activities and events.
  • Work closely with students to develop their employability skills and prepare them for future career opportunities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of career development and further education trends to provide accurate advice.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum Level 6 qualification in Careers Advice (essential for shortlisting).
  • Experience working with post-16 students, preferably in a recent role.
  • Strong understanding of the further education (FE) landscape.
  • Experience with the UCAS cycle is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively during busy periods and adapt to a dynamic educational environment.
