We have a great opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Chef de Partie at our clients' site based in the City of London.
Working within corporate environment, the site caters for high volume staff dining and extensive hospitality. Food is modern and everything is made fresh on site.
What you will be doing:
* working as part of a large team of chefs
* supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with the running of the kitchen
* helping to train and develop junior chefs
* work all areas
With food being the heart of the site, you will be a foodie with a real handle on current trends and concepts including street food and healthy eating as well as a keenness to push new ideas forward and be creative with dishes.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with some evenings (paid overtime)
What are looking for:
* An enthusiastic Chef de Partie with a stable work history (min 18 months in each job)
* Ideally have worked within contract catering or retail hospitality or similar
* A strong team player who can also use their initiative
* Excellent communication skills and an eye for detail and presentation
* Passionate about food, ingredients and customer service
* Someone up to date with current/future food trends and concepts
* Friendly and positive attitude
