Key Responsibilities of Chef de Partie:
Assisting Head Chef in managing the day-to-day operations of the Department and making sure the highest possible standard of service is achieved.
Maximising sales and profitability through skilful & innovative use of ingredients, materials, equipment and presentation.
Assisting in the effective management of employees and inspiring the team through exemplar man management, communication and development of our people.
Assisting in overseeing the adherence to the Company Health & Safety policy statement and promoting Health & Safety best practice in the workplace
AsChefde Partie the essential skills required:
Experience of working at a senior level in a busy Hotel Kitchen
Full awareness of and adherence to health and safety audit compliance
Food Hygiene Level 3 desirable
The successful candidate will be:
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive, resourceful with excellent attention to detail
Demonstrate excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills with the customers and other hotel departments
Team worker
Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace environment
