As a Commis Chef at Tresind London, you are an essential member of the kitchen brigade, supporting your section and senior chefs in delivering consistent, high-quality dishes. This role is designed to develop your culinary skills, discipline, and understanding of professional kitchen operations. Working under the guidance of the Chef de Partie, Demi Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, and Head Chef, you assist with preparation, cooking, and service tasks while learning the standards required at a Michelin-level restaurant. Key Duties & Responsibilities
Support the assigned kitchen section with preparation and service tasks.
Follow instructions, recipes, and standards set by senior chefs.
Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and readiness of workstations.

Uphold food safety, hygiene, and operational standards at all times.
Daily Duties
Carry out food preparation tasks as instructed by senior chefs.
Assist with mise-en-place to ensure section readiness.
Support service by following instructions accurately and promptly.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment.
Label, store, and rotate food items correctly.
Follow hygiene, safety, and HACCP procedures at all times.
Weekly Duties
Participate in training and skill development sessions.
Assist with stock rotation and basic inventory tasks.
Attend briefings and tastings when required.

Monthly Duties
Take part in performance reviews and development discussions.
