The Demi Chef de Partiewill support the Chef de Partie in managing a section of the kitchen and contribute to the preparation and presentation of high-standard dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chef de Partie in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes
- Run a kitchen section in the CDPs absence, maintaining food quality and timing
- Ensure proper stock rotation, labelling, and storage of ingredients
- Keep your section clean, organised, and in line with food safety standards (HACCP)
- Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation standards
- Help train and support Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants
- Communicate effectively with the team and maintain a smooth flow of service
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Demi CDP in a professional kitchen
- Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations
- Good organisational and time management skills
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Awareness of food safety and hygiene practices
