Major Food Group is hiring Demi Chef de Partie to join our opening team at Carbone London, located inside the Chancery Rosewood Hotel.

The Demi Chef de Partiewill support the Chef de Partie in managing a section of the kitchen and contribute to the preparation and presentation of high-standard dishes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Chef de Partie in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes
  • Run a kitchen section in the CDPs absence, maintaining food quality and timing
  • Ensure proper stock rotation, labelling, and storage of ingredients
  • Keep your section clean, organised, and in line with food safety standards (HACCP)
  • Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation standards
  • Help train and support Commis Chefs and kitchen assistants
  • Communicate effectively with the team and maintain a smooth flow of service
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Commis Chef or Demi CDP in a professional kitchen
  • Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques and kitchen operations
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Awareness of food safety and hygiene practices
