£45-£50K annual salary, made up of Basic Salary and Service Charge
Overview: Were seeking a talented Sous Chef to support Alex Webb in leading the kitchen at Orion. This is a hands-on position for a creative, motivated chef eager to join a new opening from the start.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Head Chef on menu execution and daily service.
- Oversee kitchen operations, prep, and section management.
- Train and mentor junior chefs and commis.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety.
- Contribute to menu development and specials.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong background in British or seafood-led restaurants.
- Experience managing a brigade and working in fast-paced environments.
- Calm, organised, and solution-oriented under pressure.
