Jack Links is a family-owned and value-driven business dedicated to crafting protein-packed snacks that are loved by consumers worldwide. They have an array of brands which includes some of the fastest growing and innovating protein snack brands such as Jack Link's, BiFi and Peperami.Purpose of the positionWe are looking to appoint a new Brand Manager UK – this key appointment will drive the growth of the Jack Link’s brand in the UK by co-developing and executing the brand marketing plan, including innovation development and market implementation. The role will lead consumer-led initiatives to increase brand awareness, relevance, and penetration, while supporting commercial and sales objectives. The Brand Manager will work cross-functionally with R&D, Category Management, Shopper Marketing, and Sales teams to deliver strong consumer-centric propositions and through-the-line communications.
Responsibilities- Implement brand strategy and brand positioning and evaluate effectiveness.
- Grow the brand while educating on the benefits of the category.
- Set up activations/engagement plans for the Jack Link’s brand to achieve brand and commercial goals.
- Development, implementation and analysis of annual brand plan & communication strategies (ATL & BTL campaigns).
- Co-Development, implementation and analysis of NPD launches, working cross functionally with R&D and internal operations teams.
- Work closely with Category management, Shopper and Sales teams to deliver strong consumer centric propositions and through-the-line communications.
- Be a key member of the cross functional Country Business Team (CBT) and Marketing & Sales Team responsible for delivery of the commercial targets.
- Support Shopper Marketing & Sales teams with necessary market, brand and product information.
- Analyse market and consumer information to give clear recommendations to fuel future brand growth, e.g. awareness, relevance, meaning, portfolio, pricing, and communications.
- Manage marketing budgets within guidelines.
- Benchmark and understand competitor & market best practices.
- +7 years (leading) FMCG marketing, with a focus on brand management including both communications, activation, portfolio management & innovation development and launches.
- Project management & cross functional team working.
- Proven experience in ATL and BTL communication development & implementation, including digital and social campaigns.
- Proven track record in launching and executing NPD in market, delivering sales growth and incremental penetration.
- Market knowledge/track record in the FMCG environment in the UK, ideally also with experience in establishing new brands/new categories.
