Our client, a global Consultancy, is seeking a dedicated Bridge Engineer to join their dynamic London team, on a Hybrid basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary Consultancy that has a reputation for delivering innovative infrastructure projects on an international scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and assess highway and railway bridges, culverts, and retaining walls.
- Conduct inspections and prepare technical reports.
- Produce calculations, drawings, and specifications to industry standards.
- Support project planning and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and contractors.
- Assist with bids, proposals, and technical documentation.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Chartered or working towards Chartership (ICE/IStructE).
- Experience in bridge design, assessment, or inspection.
- Skilled in structural analysis software (e.g., LUSAS, MIDAS, SAP2000).
- Working knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards, and DMRB.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and multitask effectively.
