Senior Civil Engineer - Central London
45,000 - 50,000 + Excellent Benefits
I'm currently supporting an award-winning, design-led engineering consultancy in their search for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their growing central London team. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and technically capable engineer with a minimum of 5 years' experience who's ready to take the next step in their career.

They collaborate closely with architects and clients-both emerging and established-to realise innovative design visions across a wide range of building and infrastructure projects.

The Role


This is a full-time role, ideal for a self-driven engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment. You'll bring strong technical and analytical skills to a varied portfolio, ranging from small-scale refurbishments to complex, large-scale developments.
You'll also play an active role in project delivery and stakeholder engagement, working closely with architects, contractors, and local authorities.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Design of below-ground drainage systems including SuDS
  • Retrofitting and site-wide drainage infrastructure
  • Producing Drainage Statements and Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs)
  • Designing private roads to adoptable standards
  • Performing vehicle tracking and swept path analysis
  • Liaising with local authorities on highways and drainage consents
  • Working with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroDrainage/Flow


Requirements:

  • ICE-accredited degree in Civil Engineering
  • 5+ years' experience in civil infrastructure design
  • Actively working toward ICE chartership
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • High level of organisation and attention to detail
  • Confidence using Civil 3D and MicroDrainage (or equivalent)
