Responsibilities of the Associate Building Surveyor:
- Leading a variety of surveying and project management duties across multiple sectors
- Managing and growing client relationships while ensuring top-tier delivery
- Mentoring junior surveyors and contributing to APC development
- Delivering project management and contract administration on major schemes
- Preparing detailed building surveys, defect analysis, and due diligence reports
- Producing professional specifications and managing small to medium design projects
- Acting as the face of the business with key clients, ensuring quality, delivery, and growth
Requirements:
- RICS Accredited BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying + MRICS Chartered status
- Experience across both pre- and post-contract project stages
- Confident managing teams and engaging with stakeholders at all levels
- Skilled in JCT and NEC contracts, with strong commercial acumen
- Comfortable leading framework commissions and hitting financial targets
- Proficient in Word and Excel (bonus: BIM awareness)
- Able to work from client offices when required and represent the brand with professionalism
