Our client is seeking Civil Design Engineers to work within the water sector on a contract basis with projects based in London. This exciting opportunity involves working on a variety of infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects, including clean water and waste water projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing detailed designs for both infra and non infra water projects
- Working on multiple frameworks including STW, Thames, Anglian, Southern, and Southwest Water
- Collaborating with a diverse team of engineers and stakeholders
- Ensuring designs comply with relevant standards and regulations
- Providing technical support during project implementation
- Preparing detailed technical reports and documentation
- Utilising relevant design software to create efficient and innovative solutions
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices
Job Requirements:
- Experience in civil design engineering within the water sector
- Strong technical skills in civil engineering principles
- Proficiency with relevant engineering design software
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Good communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
- Understanding of IR35 arrangements and hybrid working conditions
