We are seeking a Construction Assurance Manager to ensure compliance with construction regulations and oversee the health, safety, and environmental aspects of large-scale civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of NEC3 contracts, construction regulations, and site-based processes.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with NEC3 contracts and construction regulations.
  • Manage and monitor health, safety, and environmental procedures on construction sites.
  • Identify and manage risks associated with construction projects.
  • Monitor and track project progress against the established programme.
  • Provide general management oversight within a matrix organizational structure.
Qualifications
  • Degree in civil engineering, construction, building science, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of NEC3 contracts, UK construction regulations, Construction Design Management (CDM), and construction safety management requirements.
  • Experience in large-scale civil engineering projects, including earthworks, bridges and structures construction, and ground engineering.
Day-to-day
  • Collaborating with project teams to ensure construction activities align with regulatory requirements.
  • Conducting regular site visits to monitor health, safety, and environmental procedures.
  • Managing project timelines and progress against the programme.
  • Communicating with stakeholders to provide updates on construction assurance activities.
