Responsibilities;

* To ensure compliance by verifying that all construction activities comply with relevant environmental and construction regulations and local permitting requirements* To ensure quality control is undertaken by regular inspections of materials, workmanship, and construction processes to maintain high quality throughout the project.* To ensure health and safety is implemented and enforced and all safety protocols on-site, ensuring a safe working environment for construction workers and the public.* To ensure traffic management at work sites is correctly managed. To ensure full compliance with Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and Traffic Management Act 2004.* To manage traffic signs and carriageway markings within all works to ensure that they comply with Traffic Management Orders, Department of Transport Regulations and the Council's Streetsmart Design Guide.* Attend work sites daily and conduct site surveys and site inspections as directed by line management and compliance with NRSWA 1991 and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.* To meet with Developers when necessary to ensure compliance with the Highway Act in constructing their works and assess their requirements from the Council in doing so.* To meet contractors regularly to ensure project delivery and compliance with contract Key Performance Indicators.* To be accountable and responsible for the delivery of construction phase for small to majorsized projects.* To make construction decisions in consultation with Project Engineers' that are both fit for purpose and best value for project.* To provide detailed recordkeeping by maintaining comprehensive site records, including inspection reports, photographs, and copies of material delivery receipts.* To provide progress reports by monitoring construction progress against the project timeline and budget, identifying any potential delays or cost overruns early on. Progress reports on works to be forwarded to Project Engineers'.* To measure completed work for payments purposes jointly with contractors' representative.
